Restaurant Friday!

May 28, 2010

I remember back in Elementary school we used to have “special days” during the week i.e. “Pizza Friday” once a month, the occasional “Ice Cream Day,” and even “Grinder Day.” Now that those days are far in the past, it’s a little sad not having these exciting days to look forward to. The only day I get pumped for these days is Friday at 5 p.m. because, well, it’s the weekend.

Join CoupMe’s “Restaurant Fridays” to help bring back some of that childhood enthusiasm! As you may have noticed, every Friday we’ve been featuring one amazing restaurant in or around Boston because let’s face it, we love to eat and know you do too. We’ve featured some excellent restaurants recently, from Midwest Grill to G’Vanni’s Ristorante in the North End. And this Friday is Mantra in Downtown Boston, with a sophisticated, chic atmosphere and mouth-watering French-Indian fusion cuisine. Check out today’s deal (which will be up all weekend like all Friday Deals) to get $45 worth of zesty food and invigorating drinks for only $20. You can purchase now with just a click away

Look forward to our upcoming Restaurant Fridays, and join us as we incorporate more themed days throughout the week! Feel free to shoot us over any suggestions, because after all, CoupMe is all about you!

Impress Your Date. . . With a Clean Car!

May 25, 2010

Girls will scrutinize the heck out of men on a first date…or third date even.  I’ve heard everything from having a little too much stubble, an overdose on hair gel, being TOO obnoxious (or TOO shy), or  even a less than perfect set of teeth. But an ugly or dirty car? Well, that simply takes the cake when it comes to a first impression.

All you men out  there-don’t you dare go to pick up your sweetheart in a dirty, roughed up jeep! Stop right there. . . it’s time for a long, solid car wash. And no, I’m not talking about giving your car a few sprays with the hose in the backyard and calling it a day. Man up and take a trip to the car wash, where they’ll do everything for you, so by the time you’re done all you have to do is drive up like Prince Charming to ‘wow’ your Princess.

With today’s deal at Bubbles Car Wash, you won’t even have to put your foot on the pedal, as you and your filthy car are taken through car heaven. Your auto will be pampered to death-everything from Wheel Brightening and Tire Shine to a Triple Foam Wash and Dry! Purchase now for only $9 for a Triple Bubble Wash, and  get your baby back on the road in style!

Embrace Your Inner Chef!

May 24, 2010

I must say, cooking is actually something I’ve become quite talented in. With my Grandma being one of the best chef’s I know and my mom teaching me fun, useful tips growing up, cooking was simply in my genes from day 1 . However, just because I enjoy cooking doesn’t mean the other zillion Bostonian’s do too.

In fact, I know hundreds of people who absolutely despise the act of cooking. They’d rather spend hundreds on a fancy dinner out or order take out Chinese then even attempt going near the stove. Making mac ‘n’ cheese is one thing, but a gourmet, healthy dinner for two? Forget it!

Don’t shun cooking just yet Ms.Take Out. You may be pleasantly surprised of how much you can actually do, and how healthy, succulent, delicious of meals you can actually create! With today’s deal with professional Beantown Chef Chudy, you’ll get a 3-hour interactive cooking class for only $49, originally a whopping $125 (That’s 61% off)! He’ll teach you to make whatever you’d like, from BBQ bites ‘n’ burgers to Spanish tapas and Italian dishes. He also specializes in healthy, fresh eats for those of you trying to get your diets back on track! Purchase now to bring your inner chef out!

Mangia, Mangia!

May 21, 2010

Fresh basil, mozzarella cheese, prosciutto, olive oil, chicken parmesan with spaghetti and homemade Marinara sauce. . . I’m already getting hungry for lunch and it’s not even 10 a.m. Italian food is simply a must when it comes to a spectacular, flawless dining experience. I mean c’mon, who doesn’t love wine, cheese and homemade pasta dishes?

I guess you could say I’ve been a little pampered when it comes to Italian dining, as I was lucky enough to visit Italy for two months a few years ago. Every day, I devoured fresh cheese, pastas, pizza and salads, thoroughly enjoying every last bite, clearing my plate every time. But now that I’m back in the Bean, it’s hard to get that authentic, fresh Italian cuisine.

But don’t worry bella, we have you covered with today’s deal at G’Vanni’s Italian Ristorante, offering you $55 worth of food and drinks for only $20! Mama Mia. . . that’s nearly 65% off your meal! Grab your hubby or girlfriends and head to the North End while the stove is hot and the dough is rolling. Dive into succulent risotto, fresh veggies, pizzas, pasta, chicken dishes and more, as you wash it down with their fine signature wines. Now that’s what I call wining and dining, baby! May 19, 2010

So, you weren’t able to score tickets to tonight’s Sox game or this Saturday’s Celtics Game. Boo hoo. No need to sit home and cry about it. Instead, why not grab a group of friends and hit up the Coolidge Corner Clubhouse to watch the game with hundreds of other sports-minded souls like yourself? Sure, it’s not the same as watching Ray Allen bank 3-pointers from a few rows away, but 20 LCD HDTV’s, more than 20 signature burgers, 30 draft beers and endless pub food comes pretty darn close.

Today’s CoupMe deal gets you $20 worth of pub eats and drinks for just $10! From ginormous sandwiches and burgers to tantalizing apps and salads, there is something for every kind of pallet at the CCC. Not to mention their endless supply of beer, martinis, and frozen drinks galore. Hey, that beats cheap Fenway franks any day!

Getting hungry? No need to wait. Simply purchase your CoupMe here now and watch the game tonight with a full belly, and a nice cold beer in hand. And you can leave your umbrella and rain boots at home too!

Can’t Dance? No Problem. . .

May 18, 2010

There are a lot of things I’m not great at. My singing voice is meant for only the shower to hear, and I couldn’t catch a football for the life of me. But, my dancing skills are by far the worst of all my “talents.” It’s actually so bad that I avoid it at bars, and humiliate myself time and time and again whenever I attempt to “bust a move.” One time in college my friends even took me aside for a lesson in hopes it would improve my skills. It didn’t. I simply have no rhythm and that’s just how bad I am at dancing.

That’s why I got excited for today’s CoupMe Deal. There is actually such a place that can teach hopeless, non-dancers like me to dance? You bet there is! Today’s deal with Supershag Dance Studios (with locations in Waltham and Charlestown) can transform even the most awkward folks into a dancing machine.

Whether you want to impress your friends with hip hop, pole dancing, ballroom or Salsa, Supershag’s got you covered. Not only do they offer fun, engaging weekly classes, but they also hold private lessons, group lessons and even Dance Parties! No more hiding behind closed doors or sitting in the corner anymore. . . time let the inner ballerina out!

Let Yourself Indulge for Once at Midwest Grill, All-You-Can-Eat BBQ Style!

May 14, 2010

I will say that yes, I am an extremely healthy young woman. You would never catch me chowing down on a box of pizza, or a juicy burger and fries. But that doesn’t mean you can’t treat yourself to a nice, big meal now and then!

Yesterday, a coworker and I went to try out our restaurant deal of the day-The Midwest Grill-for ourselves, and let me tell you: we were quite satisfied. Walking in, we were immediately greeted by their friendly servers, and made out way to find a seat. We couldn’t keep our eyes off the Hot BBQ and Cold Salad buffet, so we hit that up first. They literally had EVERYTHING you could possibly think of, from mashed potatoes and chicken wings to white rice and french fries. I steered clear of the more fattening stuff, and dug into the field greens which I topped with fresh mozzarella cheese, some yellow rice and a dollop of chicken salad. The options were endless, but I wanted to save some room for the main gig.

And boy was I happy I did. Within moments, the waiter came over with a ginormous beef sirloin, which he sliced freshly on my plate. Before I could get a bite in, he was back again with Chicken Wrapped in Bacon, then Grilled Kielbasa, Ribs, Garlic Bread on a Stick and Even Grilled Pineapple with cinnamon! I was delighted and overwhelmed, but couldn’t say no to the ever so delectable, mouth-watering selections.

After my plate looked as if it was going to explode, I finally had to say “Stop,” and flipped my place card that they give you over to Red for “Enough(or Basta!)

While my coworker pigged out and had the urge to unbutton his pants from being full with delight, I felt great because I picked and chose what I wanted to eat, the healthy way. A few bites of chicken and kielbasa, a slice of sirloin, and two pineapple rings was the perfect accompaniment to my sides. Lesson learned, it’s OK to pig out, but you can also indulge in all the good flavor by trying just a little bit of everything.

And that’s exactly what today’s deal allows you to do. You can try as much or as little of everything as you’d like! Pay only $10 and enjoy this All-You-Can-Eat BBQ Feast at Midwest Grill just as we did. Click here to purchase now!

Take a Mini Summer Break. . . On a Cruise Ship!

May 13, 2010

Jealous of all your friends who got to go away on spring break this year, while you were stuck in the office? I know I was. Being my first year out of college for spring break, it was the first year I didn’t splurge on some expensive tropical destination. From Florida to Acapulco to Cancun, my friends and I definitely lived it up during college.

But who’s to say you can’t still have fun in the working world? With today’s CoupMe, we’ll bring spring break to YOU. . . and you won’t even have to leave Boston or beg your boss for a week off work. How is that possible, you ask? You’ll embark on Boston’s Kick off Summer Party Cruise with more than 800 people looking to have a good time! The cruise starts at 8 p.m. and is three hours long, but you’re also invited to their pre party at swanky Splash Ultra Lounge as well as the after party that goes ’til 1 a.m.

Aboard this three-story cruise boat, you’ll get free airbrushed tattoos, party favors, body painting and up to $1,000 in prize giveaways! You can also sneak off to the roof top bar to snag a kiss or catch some pretty sweet stargazing.

For just $25, you’ll get two tickets for you and a friend to this mini summer vacay, and you won’t even have to dole out money on a plane ticket or wash the sand out of your bathing suit afterward. Now, that’s what I call a sweet deal. Buy until midnight tonight by clicking here!

Stressed Much? Get a Massage, Actually Make that a Double Order!

May 12, 2010

I once took a stress test in college, where the professor went around the class and put a tiny blue sticker on each student’s hand. After the class was over, we were told to look what color the circle turned, and in turn see what our stress level was at the moment. Mine turned black. Black was the worst possible stress someone could be. I was absolutely shocked. Me, stressed? Yea, I was a busy college student, and always on the go, but I never thought of myself as a stressed out person. “Eeek,” I thought. Not good.

The fact of the matter is that many of us are so stressed that we don’t even take the time to help alleviate it. From work to babies to the boss from hell, little things in life make us stressed out to the max every single day.

But with today’s CoupMe at Beneski Wellness Center you won’t have to worry anymore! For only $49 you will receive not one, but two 45-minute massages. That’s two massages for under $50! If that won’t help relieve some tension, I don’t know what will. Click here to purchase NOW!
